Rose ........

Made a Clean & Simple card using stamps from the latest IndigoBlu Box set .......

I made the card base from white 300gsm card and it measures 5 x 5 inches.

The background plate was cut from white card and was stamped with the trellis in a mixture of green Distress Oxides which were heat set. This was matted onto black card and applied centrally to the card front.

I next stamped the rose in Versafine black on white card and heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out and colouring with worn lipstick distress ink washes, applied with a waterbrush. The leaves were stamped in green Archival ink, trimmed out and applied onto the trellis matt overlapping the edges. The rose was applied over the leaves on foam pads.

The words were stamped in Versafine black ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder, matted on black card and applied as shown on foam pads.

I added three drops of pink Crystal Drops to finish the card ......

LIM Challenge #486 .....

Welcome to a brand new Challenge from 'Less Is More' ......

This time it's :

So you are asked to make a card in any theme but make sure it is CAS (Clean And Simple), so please read and follow the rules on the blog ......

This is my Design Team card:

The base is a 6 x 6 inch white card .....

I then die-cut a stamp-edged frame from more white card and layered this on foam pads centrally on the card base.

I then stamped the main image and words (The Inspector/Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz) in black Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The Inspector was trimmed out along with the words.

I selectively coloured parts of the image with Copic markers in blue and red, leaving the majority just in monochrome. The Inspector was then added to the die-cut layer as shown.

The words were trimmed, matted onto black card and added to finish the card ......

Textures ......

Decided to join a swap over on the 'I Love IndigoBlu' Facebook page ..... three ATC's in the theme of 'Textured Backgrounds' ....

The bases were cut from re-cycled food packaging cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches.

I used entirely IndigoBlu materials from the latest Box Kit release to make them ....

I cut three pieces of background paper and stamped with a text background in black Versafine ink. I then coloured some Texture Paste with Distress ink re-inker in Green and Purple, applying this through the kit stencil. Once dry I added some stamping in Archival inks using a rose and leaf stamp from the kit.

Some texture was added by applying deco balls on Glossy accents as shown. The backgrounds were then added to the bases, edged in Versamagic Chalk ink and finished with a word sticker from the kit applied to white card, trimmed and then added to the ATC's ......

Do hope my swap partner likes them as much as I enjoyed making them  .....
