Made a little decorated box for a Challenge over on UK Stampers Forum (click link to go there) where you are to make 'Anything But A Card' .....
I used the Gelli plate to make a background with Neocolour watersoluble wax pastels with lots of water on 300gsm white card .... not tried this medium before but was really happy with the result ....
I die-cut the box top from this and cut an aperture to be able to see inside the box. I edged the aperture with a gold Posca pen.
The base was die-cut from white card and painted internally with turquoise acrylic paint. I stamped some stars in black Versafine ink.
The internal floral decoration was stamped on watercolour card and coloured with watercolours before trimming elements out for layering. I then used a black Micron pen to add details and added the pieces on foam pads at different levels within the box base.
A material flower was centred with a brad and added as shown adding a little purple Stickles glitter glue to its centre. I then stamped the sentiment 'Rest and Relaxation', trimmed out and again mounted on foam pads to finish the box ......
There is a fabulous prize of stamps for the winner of the Challenge and all you have to do is upload a photo of your make to the Forum. You need to join first ..... link at the beginning of the post .....
