Lemons .....
Made a bookmark as a gift for a friend who loves reading and has her nose in a book constantly .....
I die-cut a banner out of white card and coloured this with a watered down mustard seed Distress Ink wash to which I added a few spatters of lime green ink.
The lemons were stamped in two colours of yellow Memento Ink, trimmed out, edged with Archival black. The leaves were die-cut from Brusho coloured watercolour paper.
These were glued into place and the sentiment stamped in Archival black as shown. The bookmark was then backed in Kraft card.
The whole bookmark was then heat laminated to provide some durability in use.

Lovebirds ......
Made a mail-art postcard for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group .....
I made the background out of watercolour paper which I coloured with Brushos ! I stamped directly onto the background a house and some stylised trees and edged the card with a dotty border with Archival ink. Some Posca work was done to enhance.
The birds (PaperArtsy by Jofy) were stamped on card and coloured with watercolour brush markers, trimmed out and firmly adhered to the background. The words and hearts were stamped directly and the hearts coloured with Posca marker to finish !
This will travel directly through the post as it is so I gave it a liberal spray with matt acrylic lacquer to seal and protect.

Alice Coins ......
After being sent a wonderful gift from Jannet Blay from a blog Challenge on her blog 'Enchanted Place' my interest in Alice in Wonderland was re-kindled ! Also she had wrapped the gift pieces in gorgeous 'Rabbit' tissue paper which I saved and used in these Coins !
I die-cut the 2.5 inch diameters circles from white card and covered each with the tissue paper applied with a soft brush and loads of matt Mod Podge. When dry I stamped a number of AIW images in Memento Ink and coloured these with Copic Markers before trimming out.
The images were applied after being edged with black ink and the wording was stamped directly on the coin using black Archival Ink.
A couple of red heart shaped gems were applied as shown onto each coin and they were edged in red Copic marker. They were backed with Kraft card.
The envelopes were made after stamping liberally with a red heart and the apertures cut with another smaller die.
Thanks Jannet !!

Sweet Trading Coins ........
Made these Artist Trading Coins using an old rubber stamps and some different techniques. Each uses 2.5 inch die-cuts as the base.
The top one I used coloured pencils and chalks for the background and stamped with Distress Ink over this, edged with Versamagic Chalk Ink.
Bottom left I used printed paper as the base and stamped in Distress Ink and used a water brush to produce a watercolour effect. Again edged with chalk ink.
Bottom right I applied dye inks direct-to-paper, over stamped in Versafine sepia ink and then used Posca markers to further define the outlines. Again edged with chalk ink.
All three have some Posca white pen to highlight eyes and teeth.
These are up for swaps, so if you would like to swap with me, please email me on the email link in the right border of the blog !
