Heart Scribbles ....
Here is another card in the 'Love' series, this time with black and on a square card !
I took a 5 x 5 inch white card base and diecut a slightly smaller matt with a stitched edge die. Working on this matt I added three hand drawn squiggly lines with a white Signo pen.
I then hand cut three hearts from patterned paper and added scribbles around them with a black Micron pen before adhering over the lines on foam pads. The matt was applied to the card on foam pads. I added some pink and lime green self adhesive pearls to decorate.
The sentiment was diecut from white card and added as shown to finish the card.
Think that this looks really elegant with the black background ! This card is available to buy in my Etsy Store .... do have a look

Hello, Hello ......
Just to say 'Hello' !!
I made this card from a 5 x 7 inch white card blank base. I cut a slightly smaller matt in more white card.
I then cut 6 matts using two sizes of stitched edge dies. I stamped the smaller matts with Versamark ink and a stamp (Inkadinkado) and then heat embossed with detail clear embossing powder. Once embossed I coloured them using three shades of Distress ink applied with a blender pad and wiped off the ink to reveal the embossed image below. I added stems with a Micron pen. These were then mounted on the larger square matts and applied as shown on foam pads.
The sentiment was diecut in cream card and stuck in place as shown with three self adhesive gems added to finish. I think the squares look a bit like they could be leather .... what do you think ?

White on White ........
I really find Sympathy cards are very hard to make.
White on White is always a good way of conveying your thoughts and feelings at this difficult time.
I started with a white 5 x 7 inch white card blank. I then cut a smaller matt and diecut into this with a fern die. I then used an embossing folder and embossed the matt. The matt was then applied on foam pads and the fern replaced on central foam pads back into the aperture.
The sentiment (PapertreyInk) was stamped on white card in london fog Memento ink, trimmed out and applied centrally on more foam pads to finish.

I started with a 5 x 7 inch white card blank and cut a smaller matt in cream textured cardstock. I stamped three hearts (Chocolate Baroque) onto patterned papers and hand trimmed these out. The hearts were edged with hand drawn squiggles with a Micron pen.
I used the black Micron pen to draw three vertical squiggly lines on the right of the matt. and applied the hearts as shown on foam pads.
The 'with love' sentiment was diecut from black card and applied as shown at the base of the matt. Some coloured adhesive pearls were strategically placed and the matt applied to the card front on more foam pads to finish the card. This card is available for sale in my Etsy Store !

These were made using an acrylic painted background which was then trimmed into 1 inch squares. These were mounted onto some heavy board for strength. I then stamped some leaves (Uniko) in Versamark Ink and embossed them with two shades of green embossing powder. The edges of the inchies were then heat embossed in light gold.
I added some tiny gems and some doodling & dots with Posca pens to finish. If you fancy joining in an Inchie Swap why not join our Forum and take part CLICK HERE to go to the Forum .... we would love to have you onboard.

Thinking .....
Here is a CAS card made mainly with Kraft card ! I always think that kraft adds a sort of rustic, earthy and packaging look to whatever it is used on.
I took a 5 x 5 inch square Kraft card base and cut with a die another slightly smaller matt with a stitched edge die through the Sizzix Big Shot.
I then used a hexagon die and cut three apertures in this matt as shown. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder & the matt was then adhered on foam pads onto the card base.
Three small hearts were diecut from some teal design paper and adhered in the apertures on foam pads to finish.

Bright Circles .......
I love making CAS cards and I woke up one morning with an idea in my mind ....... so later that day I started to empty my mind and put the design into this card !
This card also meets the Challenge over on the 'That's Crafty' Challenge Blog whose theme is to make it 'Bright' !
I started with a 6 x 6 inch square white card blank. I then chose 4 circular dies in different sizes and diecut lots of circles and circles-in-circles through the Sizzix machine. I used a variety of bright coloured cards in 5 colours.
Once I had gathered a selection of these circles I assembled them in a number of configurations before choosing the one that I liked. The circles were applied directly to the card front, some flat and some on foam pads to add dimension.
I then stamped the sentiment (Personal Impressions - Marion Emberson) as shown in Versafine onyx black.
Very simple but I like how effectively the circles lend themselves to a design.

Floral Heaven postcard .....
I run a Private Facebook Group called UK Stampers Forum and we are running a number of Swaps each month, one of which is a Postcard Swap where the postcard is sent 'naked' through the post to its recipient. If you would like to join us and join some of our swaps click the link above. We wouls love to have you onboard !
This month we are to make a postcard in the theme ' Floral Heaven' and this is my entry !
I started with a piece of heavy white card cut to 6 x 4 inches and produced a background using Distress Oxide inks in Spiced Marmalade, Cracked Pistachio & Faded Jeans ! I then added some splashes of Wilted Violet added with a paintbrush.
Once totally dry I used an embossing folder and embossed the card. I then used more distress inks as paints and coloured the embossed design with a waterbrush. The flower centres were highlighted with silver. I stamped some butterflies in Sepia Archival Ink and the word 'Bloom' in Versafine black ink. I then layered the postcard on more white card and it was then edged with dark blue Versamagic chalk ink and the whole thing given a seal with spray matte acrylic sealer to protect.
This also meets the Challenge this week over on the City Crafter Challenge Blog whose subject is 'You can do it - make a background'

Get Well Butterflies .....
Unfortunately, from time to time, we all feel unwell and hope that this CAS get well card would cheer someone up if they were unwell !
I took a 5 x 5 inch white card blank and diecut a smaller matt with a stitched edge from more white card. I then cut out 3 butterfly apertures with another die. Next I cut a pink matt slightly larger than this and mounted this on the card blank. I then backed the pink with 3 different pieces of patterned paper and overlayed the white matt on foam pads over these.
I stamped the sentiment (PapertreyInk) in black Versafine ink and diecut this before mounting on foam pads and applying as shown.
Finishing touch was to add three self adhesive gems.

Uplifting Butterfly ......
This CAS card was made recently and everybody loves butterflies after all !
I took a 4 x 4 inch white card blank, then diecut a square stitched edge matt in more white card. I then diecut a butterfly in more white card. The butterfly aperture was backed in lime green card and I cut another butterfly using more lime green card, collecting the butterfly 'waste' from the diecut.
I mounted the backed matt on foam pads as shown, decorated the matt and card with a selection of the 'waste' butterflies. I applied the white butterfly on a foam pad and decorated the bodies of the butterflies with dimensional pearls.
The sentiment (Papertrey Ink) was stamped in Versafine onyx black on white card and this was matted onto more lime green card after trimming to finish !
A May Day butterfly card which meets the challenge for the Less Is More Challenge Blog whose theme is 'Shadow' this week. The 3D wings on the butterfly leave a shadow of the design over the lime green background !
