Flowery Thanks .....

This simple Thankyou card was made on a 7 x 5 inch tent fold white card base.  I cut a matt of white card slightly smaller than the card and applied this on foam pads to the card front.

I then used a variety of stamps (Artemio) to stamp the flowers on a selection of scraps of printed paper from the bit box in Memento black ink.  These were trimmed out with scissors and arranged to suit.

The leafy stems were then stamped centrally on the matt and the flowers assembled on foam pads as shown.

A tag was cut out and stamped with the work 'Thanks' and a piece of jute string was applied before mounting on foam pads to finish.  This card meets the City Crafter Challenge Blogs theme for this week which is 'In Bloom'.

Simple but bright I think !

Best Wishes ......

I have a few stamps by Uniko so decided to use a couple of sets to make this card which meets this weeks theme over on the Simply Less Is More Challenge Blog which is 'To use a frame'.

I started with a 5 x 7 inch white card blank and then diecut a frame from more white card, I stamped the sentiment in Versafine black ink as shown.

I then took a border stamp and stamped this centrally onto the white card blank before mounting the stamped frame on more foam pads over the border.  I stamped a few designs onto coloured cardstock and trimmed these out and these were applied (some on foam pads) as shown.

Thought that the design could represent contemporary Spring Flowers so this also meets the Uniko Challenge #40 - Spring !

That's it - finished !

Clippy Birthday !

This birthday card started life on a 6 x 6 inch white card blank.  I cut some printed papers (Stampin' Up) and applied these to the card front.

I stamped the girl (My Favourite Things - Pure Innocence) in Memento ink, diecut her and coloured with Copic markers applying Glossy Accents on her bow. banner & shoes.  I mounted her on foam pads on a diecut stitched circle of white card and stamped a banner diecut with the word Birthday, this was attached to the circle with a turquoise mini paper clip.  The images were then mounted on more foam pads and applied as shown.

I finished with some Stickles glitter glue on the garland at the top.

I can Fly ......

This is a postcard made for a Swap over on UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group.  The subject is 'Things With Wings'.

I cut a piece of white card to 6 x 4 inches & made the crackle background over metallic paints with acrylic paint and PVA glue on the card blank.

The wings were stamped, coloured with Alcohol Inks and finished with Glossy Accents.  The digital boy was printed and trimmed out whilst the hat was stamped and coloured with a silver marker. These components were then assembled as shown.  The words printed, trimmed and stuck in place.  I have also used Posca pens & chalk ink.

It will travel through the post 'naked' without any other packaging.  Don't yet know who will receive it as the Swap runs until 31st March 2017.  You still have time to enter if you join the Forum too - we are looking for more crafty members !

Washi Birthday .......

This CAS card was made using diecuts and Washi tape, no stamping involved !  I cut the matt out of Kraft card with a square stitched die, covered a piece of white card in strips of Washi tape and diecut this with a Happy Birthday die.  The Kraft matt was adhered with foam pads and some adhesive gems added to finish.

This meets the Less Is More Blog Challenge for this week which is to use Washi Tape on your project.

Simple but effective I think !

Meet Emma .....

When clearing a draw I dug out an old knitted bag kit that I had started but not finished.  I then used up the wool that was left to crochet this little bunny !  I used a pattern from a book by Kerry Lord !

I know the colours are weird, but then ..... so what !

Hope you like her !

Floral Heart .......

Made a card on a Kraft Card base.  I used a Tim Holtz heart die for the main image, this and the swirls were cut from light blue card and the circle from turquoise card.  The flowers on the heart were embellished with blue adhesive pearls and the edge of the circle with dots of platinum Liquid Pearls.

The sentiment is a stamp from Stampin' Up and again this was diecut with a circle die.  Components were raised on foam pads to add relief to the card.

Love that Tim Holtz heart die !
