No. 42 A Pot Plant
Here is another weekly entry onto my mini easel PhotoBook. This one is No. 42 - A Pot Plant !
I have had this Begonia Rex for many years and it sits in my porch (often neglected but still full of fab and colourful decorative leaves. I have lots of pot plants actually. The pic was taken on my phone and printed on the Pogo printer.
I have used papers from a 6 x 6 inch paper pad. The background is a plainish rose pink trimmed to fit my easel book and I have decorated the base with another matching border which has been embellished with Card Candi as shown.
Next some decorative leaves were stamped in Versafine onyx black along the left and right sides of the paper. The photo was mounted on some green paper and stuck in place as shown.
The words are made from self adhesive alphas, printed words and epoxy stickers.
Finally a piece of self adhesive ruler tape was added across the right top corner of the photo. Most edges were coloured in dye inks and the finished page was finally stuck in place.

Happy Birthday CAS Card
This Happy Birthday clean & simple card was made using a white 12 x 12 cm square card blank. Two pieces of Washi tape were trimmed and applied first as shown.
Three paper flowers were made using a die and these were rolled and stuck together with Glossy Accents and were then mounted on glue dots as shown after edging in alcohol ink.
Finally the word plate was edged in the same alcohol ink and then this was stuck in place on foam pads. Once more, no stamping on this one.

On Your Birthday Card
Yet another clean & simple card made using a 12 x 12 cm square card as a base. I have used a Hero Arts stamp a number of times inked in different colours of dye ink across the card.
I have joined these with a black Micron pen to form a fence (of sorts !).
The round 'On Your Birthday' sentiment has been edged in black alcohol ink with a marker and mounted on foam pads and stuck in place as shown.
Imagining this as a balloon I have then added a gold string freehand with a Posca pen and tied it around the fence to finish the card.

No. 46 Inside Your Wardrobe
Here is another weekly entry into my mini easel Photo Book. This one is entitled 'Inside My Wardrobe' As you can see I have a walk-in wardrobe but as you can also see it's absolutely laden with clothes. This view is mainly of hundreds of shirts (really must get rid of some), after all you can only wear one at a time, can't you?
I used printed 6 x 6 papers from Stella Rose by My Minds Eye along with an image of some 'Bumpers'.
The pic was printed out on my Pogo printer and matted onto some more of the fine striped paper. Background stamping was all done in Memento tuxedo black using chequerboard and stars stamps to add contrast.
The words were printed using a Dymo printer on black Dymo tape. If you fancy having a go click HERE and HERE for instructions.

Birthday Wishes CAS Card
This clean & simple card consists of a white card blank a Hero Arts stamp which has been stamped with Versafine onyx black, a piece of Washi tape and a Birthday wishes sentiment plate.
I have simply used an orange alcohol ink pen to outline the sentiment plate and a spot on one of the leaves and mounted the plate on foam pads.

Things I Love
This little hanging is entitled Things I love and of course is made using a chipboard heart which is 13 x 13 cms in size.
I have had a load of Lynne Perrella stamps by PaperArtsy and have hardly used them so thought I would select one as the focal point for this project. In fact all stamps are by PaperArtsy.
First I stamped the image in Memento tuxedo black ink onto white cardstock. I then tore the edges and coloured the image with Alcohol ink brush markers in shades of purple and pink. The edges were touched with a gold Posca pen to highlight..
The base heart was covered in a printed paper of distressed letters on black background. I then used more PaperArtsy stamps inked with Versamark ink and heat embossed with 3 different Moonglow embossing powders for a subtle mica finish (best seen with the naked eye).
Once this was done I took two pieces of ribbon, one turquoise grosgrain and one slightly thinner in purple satin. The purple satin ribbon was overstamped with another circular LP stamp and more Memento tuxedo black ink and was stuck onto the turquoise with red line tape. The assembled ribbon band was then stuck in place as shown across the heart.
The heart was then provided with two gold eyelets added with the crop-a-dile and the whole thing edged with more Posca gold pen. The stamped image was then added on foam pads and the word stickers added as shown.
Finishing touches were to add a length of silk sari ribbon and more of the purple ribbon through the eyelets tied in a rough knot to allow it to be hung. Just love the colours on this piece.

No.17 Technology
This weeks entry into my Photo Book is entitled 'Technology'. I am a bit of a fanatic for fresh coffee and this pic of a bit of kit is my little indulgence where traditional methodology is enhanced with lots of hi-tech gadgetry. I love it and it makes superb coffee.
Whilst it grinds the beans and brews it can be programmed to any degree to give you exactly what type of coffee you desire.
I have used stamping, printed papers, Washi tape, punching, stickers and Distress Stickles on this page.

'Houses' ATC's
Over on UK Stampers Forum we have a monthly ATC swap where we swap 3 ATC's on a theme. Septembers' theme is 'Houses' and these are my trio of ATC's.
Recently I have been designing my own digital backgrounds using the computer and these are made using one of my creations as a base which has a look of peeling paint. I have also used a digital sheet from Artchix for the house images.
The base of the ATC's was made from stout Kraft board cut to 3.5 x 2.5 ins with a craft knife on a self healing cutting mat.
Stamps used on these ATC's are from a set by Stampington 'Clearly Impressed' called home elements and I stamped brickwork in Memento onyx black and then a door knocker and ballustrade in Brilliance moonlight white.
I have also used a gold Posca pen to add dots of metallic colour around the edges and have also edged each of the ATC's with black dye ink.

Restoration .........
Hi everyone ! Lovely day here in Manchester but I am staying in and crafting away here and have just made this 6 x 4 postcard as part of a monthly swap over on UK Stampers Forum . This month it's an 'Open' theme and the postcard has to be able to go through the post naked to its recipient.
This is a challenge as any heavy embellishment can suffer greatly as the postcard goes through the sorting machinery at our friends the P.O..
Anyway, I started with a piece of white cardstock cut to 6 x 4 inches. I then covered this with a computer based background which I made using digital images. The colourway is mainly blues with a hint of pinks.
Around the right edge and bottom of the card I used a swirl stamp with lime green dye ink and stamped a swirly border. The bottom border was then overstamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with ranger lime green embossing powder.
The word plates were printed and stuck in place and were edged with black micron pen (0.4). The same pen was used to add some dots on the swirls on the right. A few small butterflies were roughly stamped in dark red on the left to add a contrasting colour.
The whole card was edged in more lime green dye ink and the card was sprayed with matte acrylic varnish to protect.

No. 43 Relaxing With A Cuppa
This weeks entry to my Photo Book is entitled 'Relax with a Cuppa'. The pic shows my favourite big mug filled with that refreshing brown stuff. I take it with milk and sugar (all the sins here !).
I bought 4 of these in the Sogo store in Hong Kong and they are made by Bodum and are double walled with a lime green silicone gripper. They are brilliant at keeping the fluid warm (or cool) for a long time.
I have used printed papers and stickers on this page to keep it simple. Love the refreshing colours !

Leaf & Branch
Love some of the dies that you can use through a diecut machine !! The main image on this simple card is one of my favourites and is quite intricate. It's by Marianne Designs and was diecut from lichen green textured card through the Sizzix Big Shot.
A strip of coloured striped paper (reminds me of the Paul Smith signature stripe) actually from a 6 x 6 inch paper pack from Websters Pages was cut, edged with green alcohol ink and stuck in place at the near bottom of a 12 x12 cm plain white card.
The die-cut tree was then stuck in place with Quickie glue pen. The printed sentiment was edged with the same alcohol ink pen and mounted as shown on foam pads. I am also entering this card into The Craftroom Challenge for this month which is Trees and/or leaves.
No stamping on this one for a change !
