'V' is for Vintage Tag

Here is yet another tag made for the Sunday Challenge on UK Stampers Forum. This weeks challenge was 'V' for vintage and this is what I did.

The tag was cut from gunmetal grey cardstock with a silver fleck. A text stamp from PaperArtsy was stamped as the background in black Stazon. A Lace stamp (Tanda) was inked with starlight silver Versafine and stamped across the bottom of the tag. A border stamp (Green Pepper Press) was inked in moonlight white Versafine and stamped on the left hand border of the tag.

The main image is the girl through the keyhole (Cherry Pie) and this was stamped on gold card in onyx black versafine and the eyes and mouth coloured with Marvey le Plume II pens as shown. I used a waterbrush to do this. This was cut out and edged in black.

A piece of wide dark beige grosgrain ribbon was rubbed over with raisin Adirondack inkpad and dried with the heatgun. The ribbon was trimmed on the diagonal at one end. The V was crafted from a chipboard letter which was coated in layers of Marvey le Plume ink and dried. This was then overstamped with the same text stamp in black Stazon and subsequently re inked with Versamark and heat embossed with claret EP. I also stamped the fabric flower with the same text stamp and black Stazon.

The tag was assembled as shown applying the V and the main image on foam pads, the flower with a black brad and three half pearls. The text was printed on the computer and applied with glue stick. The hole and eyelet were cut and fixed with the crop-a-dile and some black fibres added. The whole tag was edged with Krylon silver.

Hope you like it :-)
