Workdesk Shambles !

Here is a shot of my desk taken this morning just to show you the shambles that it is !  I try to tidy but all I seem to do is move stuff around..........does that sound familiar?

Anyway I have not taken part in WOYWW for a while and for those that know me, my desk always looks like this.  To see others (more tidy) desks go to the lovely Julias blog where all will be revealed.

  6. Well I am glad I am not the only one with a desk in shambles - still it is looks very creative and I admire all your lovely art! The only problem with us untidy crafters is we must make an effort to find space to craft! :-)

  19. I feel quite at home! lol - my desk usually looks like that and playing on Julia's WOYWW which I've only recently joined has helped me to keep a handle on making it more presentable! Otherwise my workspace is usually reduced to about 6 sq inches - and that's pushing it!!! Elaine #19

  22. I feel so much better now, Sid. I'm not alone. I'm not alone, I'm not alone. I need to keep repeating that so I don't feel so overwhelmed when I see my counters, dining table, etc. It's all about the creative process. AND, when I do put everything in it's place, then I just have to pull it all out again. But, alas, I do from time to time just so I know where everything is!

  23. Perfect shambles I think your "desk" is related to mine lol

  29. its not a shambles Sid its creative clutter but you know what you need to put art on that blank wall. Dont know if I am going to get cucumber sandwiches or champers tonight but if I drink my tea I will make sure I put out my little finger all posh..ha ha ha

  37. Mine is just like this. Usually I move bits out the way to find space for next project. Tidying takes time away from crafting.

  40. Great shot of your desk Sid but I can feel my fingers itching to get in there and do a bit of tidying - where do you craft? I can't see so much as a square inch of clear desk from this angle, just lots of lovely crafting goodies. Have a great week and perhaps you'll tell us what's in the blue bag next week :) Elizabeth x #38

  42. Hi Sid,
Thanks for visiting my blog this week for WOYWW and for leaving your lovely comment.

Your desk looks a little bigger than mine and a ‘lot’ fuller. Lol! Mind you, judging by your wonderful creations you need every single thing that resides there.

    Happy Crafting!

  44. Oh yes ...a crafter I can identify with.... I have always been someone who moves things around rather than putting it away.
Had a browse through your past posts ...love what you have been doing ...the altering old paper was brilliant ...not sure why I never thought to do it as I have created my own paterned 12x12 from plain card stock ... occaisionally.

  58. wow, you have a lot of stuff there. My husband would have a fit if our shared desk ever got like that - that's why I have to keep tidy. Wish I could just leave stuff out and accessible.
