Ohh! what a mess !

Once more the journey into the recesses of my crafty space is unwinding !  Thanks, as ever,  go to Julia on the Stamping Ground Blog for asking us to show our workdesks and this is for WOYWW 62. This view was taken of my immediate working area of around 1 square foot !!  Actually most of the items remain of what I used to make the postcard in my previous post.  Yes, that's an upended bottle of glossy accents in the background (nearing the end of the bottle so need to keep the remaining liquid at the tip).

I bought this fab revolving storage unit for my Distress inkpads and foam.  It holds all 36 colours and makes selection of colours very easy.  I have labelled the end of each pad with a white label and coloured it with the appropriate colour.  That reminds me....must use that peacock feather !!!

Finally a shot of my little tray of Cosmic Shimmer micas.  I often use these in my own made mica sprays.

That's it folks, enjoy mooching and as always I will spend a little time looking at yours over the next few days (too many to do in one go).

Sid xx

  5. Your desk looks at first glance as if you're concocting potions and lotions - all those bottles! The tankard is well employed. Your CS collection is pretty - am a sucker for grouped colours, so imagine how green eyed I am for that storage tower, great idea.

  6. What a great desk, I could use one of those inkpad spinners!
I have an upside down bottle of glossy accents only all the glue is now in the lid and stuck.....

  7. Loving the Distress Ink storage. I thought I had a lost of CS Micas powders, but you have got to be nearing a full set by now!!!

  8. You are really getting organized, Sid. I like that spinning gizmo. Now if I just had 36 ink pads, I might find room for it.

What really intrigued me was the shot of the glimmer mists. I recently bought a bunch (called polished pearls) and learned I need a solution that they no longer sell (where I shop), so now I have to figure out how to use them. They apparently don't have a binder in them. What a rip. I hope yours are more user friendly. Happy WOYWW.

  17. Just a few Cosmic shimmers eh Sid! ;-) I'd love one of those revolving storage thingys but got nowhere to put it, well nowhere in easy reach which would be the point. I've got a peacock feather but it seems such a shame to use it, 'cos it's lovely and then I won't have it any more :-/

  71. This revolving storage unit is really helpful for your working area. Placing your foams and inkpad can be easier; you just need to sort them by colors. Since it is revolving, you can easily select the color that you will need although there are 36 colors to choose from.
